    Salary Range:

    $90,000.00 To 100,000.00 Annually
    CFS Brands is seeking to hire an Accounting Manager - Manufacturing

    reporting to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis.

    This position will be responsible for managing the cost accounting and fixed asset functions, implementing key business initiatives, and participating in plant operations.

    Prepare internal and external financial and costing reports, partnering with various cross-functional team, provide financial oversight of materials management, and oversee internal controls and accounting policies in accordance with US GAAP and company policies.

    Essential Functions | Accountabilities | Performance Measures
    Must have Cost Accounting experience.
    Oversee day-to-day cost accounting and fixed asset management.
    Provide cost accounting analysis and expertise to plant management and support functions (cost analysis, production/absorption, inventory turns, etc.)
    Prepare various reports by establishing schedules, collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial and costing data.
    Manage the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
    Preparing monthly accounting activities to include journal entries and account reconciliation.
    Responsible for recording and tracking fixed assets acquisitions, dispositions, and transfers. Reconcile the fixed asset subledger.
    Provide oversight of the cycle count programs; conduct physical inventory counts as necessary.
    Provide information to auditors and tax personnel as needed.
    Assist with ad hoc reporting as needed.
    Focus on details, data accuracy, and process improvement.
    High ethical standards and presenting a positive professional image.
    Combined sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day to accomplish tasks.
    Manual dexterity with regular repetitive finger motion.
    Occasional lifting up to 10 pounds.
    Hearing and speaking required regularly.
    Specific vision abilities include close and distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.

    Communicates with parties within and outside of their own area to explain facts, policies and practices related to the area.

    Problem Solving & Complexity:

    Identifies, defines, and addresses problems which are not immediately evident but typically not complex.

    Education & Experience Required:

    6+ years of accounting experience
    BS in Accounting; CPA or MBA desirable
    4+ years of cost accounting; experience in manufacturing industry preferred
    Advanced skills in Excel and Windows-based applications; Power Query/Pivot or Power BI a plus
    Ability to analyze manufacturing data and develop strategic recommendations
    Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
    Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
    Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multi-tasking and daily priorities.

    Physical Demands:

    Wear safety attire and protective gear on a daily basis.
    Usually work indoors. This site may not be temperature controlled.
    Often exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels.
    Are exposed to hazardous equipment on a weekly basis.
    May be exposed to contaminant.
