    Senior Internal Controls Analyst, Fashion & Accessories

    Richemont | New York, NY

    As a Senior Internal Controls Analyst, you will work closely with various departments across the Fashion and Accessories brands to understand their activities, processes and better assess the risks involved. As the control owner, you will perform and document the monthly Finance Internal Controls ensuring compliance with the organization's policies and procedures, applicable laws, and regulations. You will identify and escalate deficiencies ad take corrective action for remediation. The Senior Internal Controls Analyst reports to the AVP of FP&A for Fashion and Accessories and works in close partnership with the Internal Control Director. This role will eventually evolve to take on FP&A responsibilities for the F&A Brands, including monthly closing process, account analysis, variation analysis comparing actuals to Budget and Forecast.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Execute monthly SOX controls across the Fashion & Accessories brands, complete documentation and workpaper and maintain reporting system.
    2. Liaise and collaborate with the Fashion & Accessories brands teams for training and controls guidance to ensure proper compliance.
    3. Collaborate with their different departments to gain a thorough understanding of their activities, processes, and potential risks.
    4. Evaluate adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, processes, systems, and internal controls.
    5. Identify and escalate control deficiencies or policy non-compliance (based on analysis of data trends and business records)
    6. Propose corrective action plan to mitigate, manage and eliminate the risks identified and take appropriate steps to remediate deficiencies.
    7. Implement new processes and controls as part of business optimization and projects.
    8. Support the F&A brands in their monthly closes, account analysis and monthly financial reporting, including Anaplan preparation and execution into the system.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or a chartered public accounting background
    • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in internal or external audit, controls area, compliance, or risk management, preferably within the retail industry.
    • Strong data analysis capability, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and develop effective solutions.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
    • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
    • Self-starter and flexible team player.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing processes and procedures.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SAP.

    Expected Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000

    Salary will be negotiated based on relevant skills and experience
