    Risk Analyst, Control & Oversight

    Job Description

    Trading Book Regulatory Capital Controls (60%):

    • Development, maintenance and execution of controls and reporting
      • Primarily through the use of Python and Tableau, develop reconciliations and reports
      • Create queries and normalization of data from various sources for aggregation and analysis
    • Trading Book Capital Assessment (TBCA)
      • Execution of the TBCA in collaboration with GRM-Market Risk, GRM-Enterprise Market Risk and FO
      • Assessing products and business strategy to determine the appropriate capital classification
      • Providing guidance on assessing trading book / banking book boundary
      • Validation of the completeness and accuracy of regulatory classifications
    • Data Change Management
      • Participate in the Capital Reclassification Governance Committee and coordinating the data management change process across departments and RBC systems
      • Reconciliation of capital classifications across systems
    • Desk Change Management
      • Ensuring desk requirements for Volcker and FRTB are in place and working with stakeholders to remediate gaps
      • Manage desk structure alignment between Volcker and FRTB programs

    Volcker Responsibilities (25%):

    • Volcker desk governance through metrics analysis
      • Review of a desk's activities for compliance using risk metrics, P&L decomposition, inventory aging and transaction volume data
    • Daily Volcker Metric Report Production
      • Develop and maintain processes used for Volcker Metric daily reports utilizing Python and Tableau
    • RENTD Data Production
      • Production and maintenance of exposure and transaction data utilized in the RENT (Reasonably Expected Near Term Demand) analysis

    Projects (15%):

    • It is expected that there will be project work that could be related or unrelated to capital and Volcker at any given time

    Required:

    Proficiency in Python and Tableau is required; Experience working in financial services or banking related companies; Exposure to market/credit risk, regulatory capital or regulatory compliance preferred.

    The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $80,000 - $135,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate's experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
