    Description

    As Sales Manager, you are responsible for leading both people and process management for the sales team. This role is an integral part of SupplyPike as you lead a group of Account Executives (AEs) responsible for growing the business and driving top-line revenue.

    The AE takes charge of qualified leads delivered from inbound and outbound channels, guiding prospective clients along the buyers journey to a successfully closed sale. As the Sales Manager, you will facilitate these AEs to win by conducting pipeline reviews and CRM audits, identifying risk factors along the sales cycle, monitoring lead allocation, and ensuring each AE has what he/she needs to win the deal.

    In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and people management skills to lead a diverse, high-performing team. Additionally, you will need a strong foundation in change management, identifying when a new process needs to be implemented, building out said process, documenting it concisely, communicating to all relevant stakeholders, and then training the AEs on how to execute precisely.

    Oversee sales targets for the AE team and track attainment vs goals.

    Proactively identify and implement process improvements, including documentation, training, and communication to relevant stakeholders (change management).

    Serve as the primary hiring manager for new AEs, collaborating closely with the Operations team on recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and new hire training.

    Look after team retention & employee engagement (e.g. 1:1s, team outings, etc.)

    Conduct weekly pipeline reviews with each AE and work through roadblocks.

    Audit Hubspot CRM regularly for proper hygiene as this directly impacts reporting.

    Collaborate with Customer Development and Marketing Teams to determine proper and sufficient lead allocation amongst AEs

    Oversee seamless transition of new clients to the Customer Success team.

    Review trends on deals lost to identify training opportunities for the group.

    ** Skills Knowledge and Expertise**

    Team Management

    + 2-5 years experience managing a sales team selling software solutions (B2B SaaS experience a plus)

    + Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent sales experience

    + Experience onboarding, training, and coaching salespeople

    + Ability to effectively manage conflict and show agency in solving problems

    Process Skills

    + Deep understanding of sales team management (e.g. Conversion Rate, Cycle Time, Deal Size, Capacity Management, Sales vs Goal, etc.)

    + Organized, excellent at time management, and able to effectively communicate with multiple parties across varying disciplines (e.g. Marketing, Design, Customer Success, Product, etc.)

    + Analytical background and love for using data to drive decisions

    + Experience with HubSpot or other customer relationship management software (CRM)

    + Project management experience is a huge plus
