Dauphin Precision Tool, LLC is leading supplier of American-made, industrial cutting tools.
Dauphin Precision Tool goes to market under the Brubaker and Weldon names.
Brubaker Tool was established in 1881 and produces end mills and taps, with an increasing emphasis on threading products, particularly high-performance taps.
Weldon products include high speed steel and cobalt end mills, premium carbide end mills, zero flute countersinks and many specialty tools.
Dauphin Precision Tool, LLC is looking for a talented Manufacturing Engineer to oversee and improve manufacturing processes for our threading products.
The Manufacturing Engineer's responsibilities include identifying areas for improvement, maintaining high levels of manufacturing and product quality, designing new products and processes, as well as ensuring cost-efficiency.
To be successful in this position, you should be able to work effectively within a team and have a high level of technical expertise.
An outstanding manufacturing engineer should be able to develop and optimize manufacturing processes for maximum efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities:
Documenting and standardizing existing processes; identifying areas for improvement.
Conducting Root Cause Analysis to resolve problems and implement improvements.
Developing detailed layouts for equipment, processes, and workflow.
Researching and developing new processes, equipment, and products.
Developing and implementing cost-saving measures and quality control systems.
Ensuring manufacturing processes, equipment, and products comply with safety standards and legal regulations.
Manufacturing Engineer Requirements:
Bachelors or Associates Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering is required.
5 years documented success improving manufacturing processes.
Successful implementation of Lean principles.
CAD experience, Solidworks and AutoCAD preferred.
ERP/MRP experience, Syteline preferred.
Grinding
experience/understanding.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong organization and management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Self Motivated.
