Bachelor's Degree in mechanical or industrial engineering, and 5-10 years hands-on experience in a similar position or discipline5+ years programming CNC machine tools2 & 4 axis lathes3 & 4 axis machining centersPart probe inspection programming5+ years fixture & tooling design experience - Conceptualize, Design, & ImproveWork with internal & external resources to have fixtures & tooling built, tested, & implementedExtensive knowledge of CNC machine tools - Operations & ControlsMust know how to operator CNC equipment, setup jobs, set tooling, & calibrate work offsetsMust be able to effectively operate & interact with machine tool controlsOkuma, Fanuc controls preferred5+ years CAD/CAM software experienceCreo & EdgeCAM preferredStrong verbal, written, analytical, & project management skills - Effectively managing resources to achieve planned resultsExcellent interpersonal skills & must be able to work with diverse groups of peoplePreferred Experience/skills

Manufacturing Engineering:

LEAN (5s, Kaizen, etc...), Quality Management Tools & Methods (Root Cause Analysis, Corrective Action, DMAIC, Continuous Improvement, Gage R&R, SPC, Process Capability, Six Sigma, etc...)

Welding, Foundry PracticesSAP, ERP/MRP, Costing System, Demand Planning & Inventory ManagementStrong proficiency skills with Microsoft Office3+ years experience in a union environment3+ years Controls Engineering:
Robotic process development & programming experience

Troubleshoot robotic issues, make continuous improvements to existing cells, & integrating new robotics into a cellFanuc & ABB robot preferredPLC, HMI, & MES system & programming experience
Ability to troubleshoot, edit / improve, & create new programsPLC & HMI
