- Work closely with clients to determines requirements and develop plans, specifications, drawings, instructions, cost estimates, reports, final bid packages, and related documents
- Develop and manage effective site investigation and remediation field programs
- Provide mentoring and hands-on support to junior team members during field exploration and testing
- Interpret and communicate investigation findings
- Leverage technology to support data management and visualization
- Manage Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, engineering evaluation/cost analyses, remedial investigation/feasibility studies and long-term monitoring programs
- Review and write technical reports, correspondence, notes, and memoranda
- Ability to work primarily in the office with some field oversight
- Effectively communicate complex topics with colleagues and clients
- Recognize and manage business risk
- Problem solve and work independently
- Strong understanding of State regulatory requirements
- Ability to make quick decisions regarding regulatory applicability and respond to clients in an efficient manner
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Motivated and able to problem-solve
- Strong knowledge of site assessment/characterization, data analysis, remediation techniques, and risk assessment
- Experience working on contaminated sites throughout New York including interaction with local, State, and Federal regulators
- PFAS experience and knowledge preferred
- Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geology, Biology, Ecology, Natural Resources, or related field required
- 8-11 years of professional environmental remediation experience required, depending on level of education (masters may substitute for 1 year)
- Masters Degree preferred
- OSHA 40 hr. HAZWOPER certification and annual refresher certifications required
- Professional Licensure expected or on track to obtain (PE, PG, CHMM, QEP)

Our best estimate of the salary range for this position located in Hauppauge, NY is $87,000-125,000. The final compensation will be based on a variety of factors such as individual qualifications, education, and experience.
