SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Strategic Project Manager will work collaboratively to develop
- and set operational strategies for short and long-term success at Stony Brook Medicine's Clinically Integrated Network
- (CIN) including special projects, value-based care performance reporting, business intelligence, financial results,
- clinical quality outcomes and utilization. The Strategic Project Manager will assist in project management, statistical
- and financial analysis, and other functions as required.

  • The Strategic Project Manager, CIN, in addition to the specific responsibilities noted below, will also assist the
  • Executive Director by leading key projects in support of short and longterm strategies determined by enterprise
- leadership. As the structure and scope of the CIN at Stony Brook Medicine will evolve over time, it is anticipated that
- scope and assignments of this position may change accordingly.

  • Job Duties & Essential Functions:
  • Works collaboratively with other project managers to direct and manage enterprise-wide CIN projects
and initiatives, including Value-Based & Accountable Care analyses, Clinical Workgroups, and strategic
- deliverables.
  • Provide support in coordinating CIN strategic initiatives, including Care Management, Practice
Transformation, Post-Acute Care, and IT projects, policy and procedures development and
- implementation, strategic planning, and implementation.
  • Implement strategic plans developed by the organization's leadership.

  • Position Requirements
  • Required Education & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • Five (5) or more year's full time, progressively responsible administrative experience and demonstrated leadership in management.
  • Previous experience with business plan development, budgeting, financial analysis, and modeling.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in with Microsoft Office Suite and strong background in Excel.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • PMP Certification
  • Master's Degree
  • Previous experience working in healthcare.
  • Demonstrated skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with physicians, executive
management, and staff

Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully
perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required
to communicate with patients, staff and medical providers. The employee must be able to exchange accurate
information in these situations. This position is largely sedentary and requires the employee to remain stationary for a
majority of the day. Any additional physical demands will be outlined and provided by management.
This job offers a hybrid remote schedule. Mostly work from home with regularly scheduled virtual meetings. There will
also be required in-person meetings at various network locations.
