Talis Group's client is a well-established manufacturer in Princeton, IN, looking for a talented Staff Accountant to join their accounting team. This position offers an opportunity to learn about manufacturing accounting and advance your career. Staff Accountant supports financial operations by assisting with AR/invoicing, journal entries, general ledger, monthly close and fixed assets. Highlighted Duties:

Assist with general ledger functions (reconciliations, financial statements and month end close)
Review AR, collections, invoicing and assisting with vendor management
Manage fixed assets
Work within ERP system
GAAP compliance (federal, state, industry requirements and required reporting)
Audit support collaborating with external auditors
Provide outstanding customer service and communication

Highlighted Requirements:

Bachelors in Accounting preferred but not required
3+ years daily accounting experience including assisting with month end close
Advanced Excel user and experience working within an ERP system
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellence verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills needed to effectively convey information to others
Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and business needs within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive work environment
