Job Description
This is a merit hire position. The starting
pay rate for this position is $15.30. This is a
professional internship in the business office completed under the supervision of a Fiscal Officer 1 or 2.An Employee must be enrolled in an Associates or Undergraduate degree program related to Accounting, Business, Social Services, Human Services, Psychology or similar course of study. A person in this position may assist with duties related to accounts payable processes, including, but not limited to reviewing invoices from providers and vendors to assure they are accurate and reflect proper authorization procedures have been followed. Payments of invoices are processed according to Agency and County policies and procedures to assure timeliness and compliance with mandates and regulations. This individual may also be responsible for assisting with the processes related to the procurement of Title IV-E and TANF funding, as well as securing funding from third party revenue sources which include Domestic Relations and Social Security.
Minimum Education, Experience and
Training Requirements:
Enrollment as a full-time student in an undergraduate degree program related to accounting.
Other Requirements:
At the time of hire, a valid driver's license and positive driving record, a favorable criminal background check, child abuse and FBI clearances, as well as favorable references are required.
An alternative form of identification will be accepted if you are not eligible to receive a Pennsylvania driver's license under 67 PA.
