THE POSITION:


DESCRIPTION OF WORK:


In this position, you will perform financial duties in support of our unit and be responsible for the maintenance of accounts receivable, as well as other accounting tasks and financial transactions.

You will utilize various software programs (including SAP and ESS, as well as Microsoft products) and office equipment to post deposits and credits, reconcile checks, and enter necessary information.

You will also update and maintain financial spreadsheets and complete tracking reports.

In your daily work, you will work as part of a team and be in communication with state and private sector entities.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:


  • Fulltime employment, 37.5 hours per week
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday
  • Friday, with 30minute lunch.

Telework:You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 3 days a week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY:


QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:


  • One year as a Fiscal Assistant;
    or:
  • One year of experience in maintaining and reviewing fiscal records and an Associate degree in accounting or business administration;
    or:
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Other Requirements:
