    Description

    A recognized services company in Florida is looking to add an experienced Accountant to their team in Fort Lauderdale as their new Senior Accounting Manager.

    Responsibilities:

    The Senior Accounting Manager will:

    • Lead the consolidation process, ensuring accuracy and completeness in financial reporting
    • Coordinate with subsidiary accountants to gather necessary financial data for consolidation purposes
    • Perform intercompany reconciliations and eliminations to achieve accurate consolidated financial statements
    • Prepare and analyze monthly cash flow statements, identifying key drivers and variances
    • Collaborate with various departments to obtain relevant information for cash flow projections and forecasts
    • Provide insights and recommendations to management regarding cash flow optimization.
    • Oversee and implement Sarbanes-Oxley (Sox) Controls compliance procedures
    • Collaborate with Internal Audit teams to ensure adherence to Sox requirements and address any identified deficiencies
    • Continuously evaluate and enhance internal controls to maintain compliance and mitigate financial risks
    • Conduct detailed financial analysis, including trend analysis, variance analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
    • Assist in the development of financial models to support strategic decision-making
    • Provide insightful commentary and recommendations based on financial analysis results
    • Prepare and review supporting schedules for internal and external SEC reporting
    • Perform other duties, as needed
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or a related field
    • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Corporate Accounting
    • Focus on Consolidations and Sox Controls Compliance.
    • Strong understanding of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
    • Proficient in financial analysis, modeling, and cash flow analysis
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    Desired Skills:
    • CPA designation
    • Public Accounting looking for industry or Combo experience
