    Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant (LDTC) - South Plainfield, NJ
    Are you a dedicated and experienced Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant looking for a fulfilling opportunity to support students with learning challenges? We're seeking a passionate professional to join our team near South Plainfield, New Jersey, serving elementary school students in two schools


    Position:
    Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant (LDTC)

    Location:
    South Plainfield, NJ (Onsite ONLY)

    Pay:
    $45/HR, Full-Time with Benefits

    Duration:
    ASAP - June 23rd, 2024

    Hours:
    Full-Time (37.5 hours/week), 8:30am-3:30pm


    Role and Responsibilities:

    • Attend Child Study Team (CST) meetings to discuss student referrals, evaluations, and educational plans.
    • Serve as a case manager for students with learning disabilities, collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
    • Conduct prehensive evaluations to assess students' learning needs and identify appropriate interventions and acmodations.
    • Provide consultation and support to teachers and staff on strategies for acmodating students with learning disabilities in the classroom.
    • Collaborate with outside agencies and service providers as needed to support students' educational goals.
    • Maintain accurate and uptodate documentation of evaluations, IEPs, and progress monitoring.

    Requirements:

    • Master's degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
    • Four years of fulltime teaching experience.
    • New Jersey Certificate of Eligibility with Advanced Standing (CEAS) teaching certification.
    • New Jersey Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant (LDTC) certificate.
    • Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
    • Excellent munication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
