- Direct and oversee the operations of the divisions.
- Plan and maintain operations to ensure daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly operational goals are met or exceeded.
- Ensure all required reporting is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Responsible for ensuring the divisions are meeting 100% environmental, DOT, and OSHA compliance standards.
- Partner with the Safety Director to plan and maintain policies for the safety of personnel
- Partner with the Director of Maintenance to evaluate and meet equipment and maintenance needs.
- Work with the General Managers to confirm the facilities are maintained in accordance with company standards.
- Coach, mentor, and train of all supervisors in the policies, procedures and customer service goals of the company.
- Continuously improve customer satisfaction by providing outstanding customer service.
- Work in conjunction with the Director of Sales in planning and establishing marketing plans and objectives.
- Acts as liaison to all customers, municipalities and districts serviced.
- Special projects and other job duties as assigned.
- Five (5) years of supervisory/leadership experience
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
- Three (3) to Five (5) years of Operations Management experience
- P & L knowledge
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills and strong interpersonal skills.
- Must be organized and motivated to succeed with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong skills related to Microsoft Office software products
- A Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or a related field
- Experience in a sister industry- logistics, transportation, etc.
