**Location** Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota **Date posted** 11/16/2021 **CHS** has an exciting opportunity a **Window Server Administrator** within the Information Technology department to support Intel based Windows server hardware, software, and peripheral devices. You must be a detail-oriented, results-driven individual with a commitment to quality, accuracy and the ability to organize and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work in both a team environment and on self-directed tasks are essential.****Responsibilities****
Partner with Business Analysts and vendors to meet project needs for procurement and installation and deployment of Windows Server computer systems and peripheral devices
Support, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware, software, storage, and network connectivity issues for new and existing environments.
Establish and implement system roadmaps for upgrades and lifecycle events.
Manage and resolve incidents using Corporate Ticketing system.
Create meaningful documentation on Hardware, Applications, Systems and procedures.
Ownership of remote server environments at manufacturing facilities with operational technology environments.
Backup others to ensure stability of Windows Server environment.
Provide training and technical support to end users as needed.
Follow and enforce established department standards and policies related to security, system builds, and environment segmentation.
Establish repeatable processes/templates to drive operational efficiency with continuous feedback/improvement of operational support, and IT services for site customers.
Build strong relationships with Business and IT customers.
Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
****Minimum Qualifications (required)****
Bachelor's degree preferred in Information technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Technology Management, or in a related field (or equivalent years of training, work experience and education)
2+ years of IT support to include one or more of the following:
+ Microsoft Windows Servers (2012, 2016, 2019)
+ Data communications and network connectivity
+ Microsoft Server applications (SQL, file shares, printers, etc.)
+ Remote administration and management
+ Support of Windows desktops and LAN's
****Additional Qualifications****
PowerShell Scripting, SCCM
SolarWinds or comparable monitoring system
****Physical Requirements****
Ability and willingness to travel up to 10%
