Description

Among other things, your tasks will include:

  • Administration and expansion of the network infrastructure (cabling, switches, routers, firewalls, WiFi, DECT)
  • Planning, operation, and maintenance of the local data center
  • Administration and expansion of the client and server landscape
  • Monitoring of the IT infrastructure
  • Administration of user accounts, computers, and access rights in Microsoft Active Directory
  • IT project management and leadership of IT infrastructure installations at new Amazon locations
  • Coordination of external service providers for projects
  • Second level support for client, server, network, and telecommunications systems
  • Support, advice, and training for users
  • Providing IT on-call services
  • Planning and implementation of critical IT infrastructure changes (change management)
  • Creation, organization, and optimization of IT documentation
  • IT support and escalation management based on defined service level agreements (SLAs)
  • IT asset management, planning, and procurement of IT hardware
  • Ensuring and communicating company-wide IT security policies
