    Description

    Healthcare Construction Project Manager - Manhattan, NY will be responsible for the oversight and completion of Commercial, Healthcare and Medical Construction projects throughout New York, New York.

    Our client is currently a leading Construction Developer in the New York City Building and Construction industry.

    They have been an established for for 30+ years focusing commercial and retail new Builds, Build outs, and renovations for their Commercial and healthcare clients base.

    Healthcare Construction Project Manager - Manhattan, NY
    Implement and maintain effective management, planning, and cost control systems in cooperation with the project team
    Assist with pre-construction activities relevant to assigned Commercial or retail construction project
    Will report directly to Senior Construction Manager and assist with all duties
    Establish and maintain communications between Client and Subcontractors to ensure accurate and timely flow of information
    Prepare or assist pre-construction manager with the project budget
    Coordinate with Sub contractors
    Review and approve Commercial construction operation plans, change order request and pay apps.
    Provide monthly forecasting for all projects, including internal general conditions costs
    Review contingency plans for potential problems concerning labor activity, fire, storms, etc.
    Track and report on all project costs
    Identify and evaluate risk that may have an impact on the project
    Develop and issue monthly status reports to keep management informed on construction progress, direct and indirect construction costs, and other project activities
    Healthcare Construction Project Manager - Manhattan, NY
    ~7+ years of working on commercial construction projects in NYC Building and Construction industry
    ~ Experience with Healthcare or Medical Projects
    ~ Experience in Commercial and Retail markets
    ~ Experience handling projects
    ~ Local to New York, NY and Commutable to Manhattan, NY
    ~ Must have experience building in New York City
    ~ Construction Management or equivalent degree
    ~ Client facing Commercial Construction Project Manager
    ~$Health care (Employer paid)
    ~Local or Commutable to Mnahattan, NY
