    Description
    Compensation - $65,000-85,000 base salary. OTE $100,000-120,000.Our client is a global engineering design firm based in Santa Clara, California (and with offices internationally). They specialize in embedded software/hardware, electronics, and electro-mechanics.

    As a Business Development Representative, your main focus will be on sales and marketing activities, seeking out new business opportunities and developing relationships with potential clients.

    You'll work closely with R&D, Manufacturing, and Aftermarket teams to expand services and offerings.
    ResponsibilitiesIdentify and pursue new business opportunities.
    Qualify leads and reach out to potential clients through various channels.
    Present the company and services to prospective clients.
    Understand client needs and tailor solutions to meet them.
    Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
    Work with internal teams to support customer requests and develop proposals.
    Stay updated on industry trends and product offerings.
    Participate in marketing activities, trade shows, and conventions.
    Conduct market research and travel as needed.
    What You'll NeedBachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
    Previous experience in a similar sales role.

    Experience selling software or hardware engineering services in industries like Telecom, Automotive, Industrial, Consumer, MedTech, Connected Devices, or IoT.Strong sales and negotiation skills.

    Familiarity with CRM software and MS Excel.
    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
    Valid driver's license and access to a car.
    Compensation$65,000-85,000 base salary. OTE $100,000-120,000.
