- Support Program Acquisition Process utilizing DHS Acquisition Life Cycle guidelines and best practices
- Support acquisition artifact development and review throughout the Acquisition Life Cycle
- Assist in the written development of the Acquisition Plan
- Utilize acquisition knowledge and experience in obtaining, integrating and reporting client data.
- Develop and apply analytic methodologies and principles, including data mining, text analytics, business intelligence, modeling data, qualitative, quantitative, and data visualization, in support of ongoing initiatives.
- Resolve complex problems which require in-depth knowledge of analytic methodologies and principles.
- Assist in analyzing acquisition data and formulate recommendations.
- Produce written deliverables to include reports, spreadsheets, databases, formal process, mapping, technical design and system testing and implementation activities.
- Collaborate with the Administrative Analysts to support the mission Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' work experience and a Bachelor's degree in business, management, finance, or related discipline OR a minimum of 9 years' work experience in acquisition
- DHS Acquisition background and understanding of DHS acquisition life cycle framework and system engineering life cycle desired
- DAWIA or FAC acquisition/contracting certification desired
- Experience supporting multi-functional technical teams for large, complex programs
- A true team player who maintains a positive attitude in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Ability to communicate clearly with a variety of stakeholders
- Ability to effectively solve problems
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
