- Maintain chemical inventory, including but not limited to: SDS repository maintenance, removing expired chemicals, general organization, and audits.
- Prepare reagent solutions for use as diluents, buffers, and media.
- Maintains adequate volume of laboratory consumables and reorders as needed.
- Actively monitors consumables and media supplies for which responsibility is assigned.
- Carefully follow company, departmental and local safety policies, and procedures.
- Keeps safety training and training records complete and up to date.
- Completes and maintains RCRA certification.
- Handles solvent and other liquid wastes.
- Act as liaison for customer requests (e.g. instrument service needed).
