- Enhance Experience: Elevate the candidate journey with efficient, engaging processes.
- Develop sourcing strategies: Scout talent through networks, events, and referrals.
- Create formal internships, co-op, and apprenticeship programs.
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers and the HR team.
- Contribute to strategic planning and employee development.
- Source, screen, interview, and present top-level talent for both contract and permanent positions through internal and external networks, industry events, electronic resources, and internal referrals.
- Carryout talent strategies and processes utilizing various tools and resources (LinkedIn, CareerBuilder, Social Media Outlets, Internal ATS, etc.)
- Work with hiring managers to develop position descriptions.
- Collaborate with HRBPs to negotiate candidate compensation within budget parameters.
- Improve recruitment processes and efficiencies across the organization, building partnerships with all levels of management.
- Draft job postings, offer, transfer and promotion letters.
- Obtain background checks and see the hiring process through the offer and acceptance stage.
- Maintain recruiting statistics and prepare reports, surveys, and presentations as needed on these hiring statistics.
- Collaborate with several departments and HR on special projects including on campus recruiting events.
- Provide support for various recruiting and HR initiatives.
- Advance knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). Paycom is preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a recruiter/HR generalist. Prior experience with manufacturing is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of legal requirements affecting employment, interviewing, and background check processes.
- Ability to communicate effectively through strong professional writing skills.
- Familiarity with recruiting, especially using social media channels to attract candidates.
- Track record of recruiting high-caliber talent and with periods of significant volume.
- Advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks, completing all undertime constraints, and while maintaining a high degree of attention to detail.
- Exercise a high degree of confidentiality, professionalism, and diplomacy to accomplish objectives.
- Will be involved with relationship strategy and recruiting from colleges and universities, technical and vocational schools, military institutions, and job fairs.
- May be involved with pre-employment testing processes.
- Consider certifications like, SHRM or PHR (nice to have, not mandatory)
