    THIS POSITION REQUIRES MINIMUM 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN CALIFORNIA K-14 EDUCATION PROJECTS with DSA OVERSIGHT

    Job Description :

    The Senior Scheduler/Estimator works with Sr. Project managers, reports to the Director of Construction and provides the overall estimating and scheduling for construction activities on all assigned projects.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    The Senior Project Scheduler/Estimator is responsible for providing the following services or for supervising the Project Management team members that perform these services:


    • Assists the Director of Construction create project budgets via the estimating process and conducts work product with a high degree of quality.


    • Ability to create detailed project schdules using P6 and other tools.


    • Oversees project and program scheduling, estimating, and execution plan support.


    • Has functional knowledge of contracts, drawings, estimates, and specifications to ensure relation and compliance to construction/project requirements.


    • Ability to review and validate change orders.


    • Has experience with database project controls software systems, such as ProCore.


    • Ensures compliance with contract requirements of contractor, architect, engineer and other team members as applicable to scheduling needs on each project.


    • Oversees development of project schedules and estimates with input and collaboration from Team Members.


    • Has a deep understanding of construction means and methods.


    • Responsible to communicate effectively with project managers, Director of Construction and Program Manager regarding estimate, budgets, schedules, and construction impacts.


    • Responsible for schedule development and management.


    • Oversee monthly contractor schedule updates to incorporate into master schedules.


    • Consistently follows the organization's safety policy, promoting a positive and collaborative safety culture.


    • This is an onsite position.

    Minimum Qualifications:


    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent technical area of study with a minimum of 7 years of experience in management of construction, engineering or architectural related projects OR

    o Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in business disciplines such as Business Administration, Accounting/Finance, or Management with a minimum of 9 years of experience in management of construction, engineering or equivalent technical projects


    • Strong verbal and written communication skills


    • Very good organizational skills and attention to detail


    • Ability to work positively in a team environment.


    • Advanced knowledge and application of construction estimating, cost, project controls/scheduling, documentation, engineering/construction principles, contracts and delivery methods are required.


    • Thorough understanding of contracts, documents, drawings, and specifications .


    • Strong computer skills and familiarity in Adobe Acrobat, Excel and Word, and experience with overall construction management on complex projects from preconstruction through final punch-list and delivery


    • Certified Construction Manager preferred | Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred but not required for the right candidate.

    Offered rate of compensation will be based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including education, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. The Salary range for this position is $120,000.00-$145,000.00 DOE
