- Demonstrate in-depth technical expertise in FiberLight's products and solutions.
- Provide pre-sales technical support to the sales team.
- Collaborate with sales to understand customer requirements and design tailored technical solutions.
- Develop and present comprehensive technical proposals to potential clients.
- Engage with customers to analyze networking requirements and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Guide customers in the implementation of FiberLight solutions.
- Conduct training sessions for customers and internal teams.
- Contribute to the development of technical documentation and proposals.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers and partners.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure seamless communication.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics.
- Provide insights to contribute to strategic decision-making.
- Travel up to 25% per month is possible including trade show participation and customer meetings.
- Proven experience in a sales engineering role within the telecommunications industry.
- Proficient in networking protocols and fiber optics technology.
- Experience with Channel Partner Sales or Technology Solutions Distributors / Brokers industry is preferred.
- Solid understanding of Enterprise and Public sector networking requirements.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for conveying technical information effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address customer challenges.
- Customer-centric approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Ability to collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development.
- Self-motivated and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience with Office 365 Suite with specific advanced skills in Visio and Excel.
- Previous experience using GIS software for fiber network management.
- Advanced Google Earth skills are preferred.
- Work in a fast-paced environment as a liaison between Operations, Engineering and Sales Departments.
- Industry recognized certifications are a plus. Cisco, Juniper, Ciena, and Fujitsu are ideal.
