Our Area Sales Managers are individuals with the vision and dedication needed to assist our current and future dealer partners sell more cars and trucks by financing more customers.

    As an Area Sales Manager you are the face of the Company with our number one customer our dealers. Your ability to leverage the relationships you build makes you the single most important factor in growing our business. Your ability to provide best-in-class service to your dealers will determine the value they place in you and Western Funding. In our business; value, persistence, and hard work equal success. To ensure your success, we provide you with the training, programs, and technology you will need to help your dealers sell more cars and make more money. When your dealers and Western Funding make more money, so will you.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Present and communicate company products and services to all levels of management within Independent and Franchise Dealerships;

    Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts assigned to you;

    Follow-up on new leads and referrals resulting from telephone calls for Independent and franchise dealers;

    Develop, maintain and grow current and potential dealer partners within the Independent and Franchise Dealer communities;

    Constant and effective communication with dealer partners on current programs; and

    Train dealers on Western Funding including proper documentation needed for fast funding of contracts

    ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILL & LICENSES:

    Ability to persuade and influence others

    Clear and effective Presentation skills

    Strong Interpersonal and communication skills

    Strong knowledge of warm calling, appointment setting, and sales techniques

    Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques

    Strong computer skills and adaptability to new technology

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

    Strong knowledge of Automotive, Finance and Sales

    Previous experience in the Financial Services Sector or within a Car Dealership

    1-2 years previous experience in a challenging sales role with a proven track record of success

    High School Diploma required. College degree preferred or equivalent work experience
