    TPA Admin Assistant - Fort Worth, TX, United States - TEKsystems

    Description:

    · Maintain a designated number of 401(k) Plans

    · Initiate and respond to basic client communication and inquiries

    · Document all plan transactions during the year (loans, distributions, rollovers, contributions)

    · Perform annual review process for all assigned plans

    Prepare plan financials and 5500 with all schedules

    Determine eligible employees based on census

    Prepare and send work product

    Invite clients to electronically sign 5500 and follow-up as needed

    · Gather, record, and track receipt of all year-end documents

    They can take an old 401k account with their employer and put it into a business 401k account - have to go through regulations with their IRA -

    Our Third Party administration admin - to get them fully trained to become a plan administrator -

    Reviewing a lot of client documentation - making sure they are knowing what they can do with their funds - submit their documentation to the 401k plan -

    Deadline is august - so the busy season is my until the end of july - second deadline is october

    Less phone conversations - send us sensus documentations

    Decent amount of data entry - don't really need to know what the financial documents to say

    6 - 12 month training process

    Ongoing until the client decides to stop the 401k plan - the clients pay a monthly fee

    Getting documentation is depended on the annual information - some plans take 10 to 15 minutes - some other plans take 4 to 5 hours to complete their document report

    Some phone conversations - but most of it is via email -

    Career plan is getting to the plan administrator

    · 3+ years financial industry experience

    · Retirement Plan industry experience is a plus

    · Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate to advanced skills in Excel
