    Job DescriptionJob Summary/Company: Are you passionate about compensation analysis and eager to make a meaningful impact within a dynamic municipal environment? Sparks Group is thrilled to present an exciting opportunity for a Compensation Analyst to join a Northern Virginian local government Department of Human Resources team. This opportunity offers the chance to support various departments with compensation needs, providing analytical insights, and maintaining positive relationships across the organization.     Responsibilities:
    • Assessing and responding to transactional requests, including determining eligibility for various pay types and ensuring compliance with policies.
    • Conducting thorough analysis, collecting relevant data, and offering recommendations aligned with the city's philosophy and departmental objectives.
    • Delivering HR findings directly to departments and offering guidance for the implementation of compensation actions.
    • Performing benchmarking analysis and effectively communicating findings to stakeholders.

    Qualifications/Background Profile:
    • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
    • 3+ years of professional experience in human resource management / compensation
    • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite programs
