    At Serco, we are committed to providing top-notch engineering services to support the US Department of Defense. The Electronic Surveillance System (ESS) Shore Team specializes in installing various security systems on Military bases, including Access Control Systems (ACS) and Video Surveillance Systems (VSS).

In this role, you will handle standardized assignments and follow specific instructions, such as assembling equipment, conducting tests, and extracting engineering data.


    In this role, you will:
    • Follow standard work methods on recurring tasks but may receive explicit instructions for unfamiliar assignments
    • Assemble or construct equipment according to specific instructions
    • Conduct a variety of tests using established methods
    • Extract engineering data from different sources and process it using well-defined methods


    To be successful in this role, you should have knowledge of hand and power tools, experience in installing cables, and the ability to read technical design drawings and manuals. Additionally, you should be able to work independently and have experience using computers for data tracking.


    Qualifications:
    • Knowledge of hand and power tools and their proper use
    • Experience in installing and repairing equipment
    • Ability to read and interpret technical design drawings and manuals
    • High school diploma/GED and 1+ years' of ESS experience
    • Ability to obtain an active DoD Secret clearance
    • Ability to travel 75%+ of the time, domestic or international
    Additional desired experience and skills:
    • An active DoD Secret clearance

    In compliance with state and local laws, the salary range for this role is $59,906 to $99,844. Serco offers competitive compensation based on various factors, including the role, candidate's experience, and skills.
