Payroll & Accounting Specialist
What we're looking for:
An energetic, motivated Payroll & Accounting Specialist to join our fast-growing and dynamic team.
What you'll be doing:
The responsibilities of this position will primarily focus on payroll, expenses, and commissions.
As such, the candidate will be required to interact frequently with employees internally from the Operations, Service, and Sales groups.
The standard work hours for this employee are 8:30 AM – 5 PM, Monday-Friday.Specific duties to include:
Processing payroll on a biweekly and as-needed basis
Posting payroll JE to ERP software, including month end accruals
Processing wage garnishments
Making adjustments in pay for raises, bonuses, benefits, and commissions
Balancing accounts after posting payroll JE
Distribute live checks for payroll as needed
Certified payroll reporting for prevailing wage jobs
Produce commission and bonus statements on a monthly basis, abiding by commission schedules
Issuing cover sheet
Make commission adjustments as needed
Review expense reports for accuracy of amounts, job costing, and categories
Expense uploads into ERP software, making adjustments as needed
Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent degree program
ADP Workforce Now payroll experience
Corporate expense platform experience (preferred but not required)
Accounting or Customer Service experience
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
