The Director provides operational, financial management, and physician contracting oversight to the Medical Staff Services Department for services provided to Hospitals in the OhioHealth System.
The Director collaborates with Medical Staff leadership, focuses on maintaining organized operations of the Medical Staff, and reviews and implements credentialing, privileging, and quality procedures based on Medical Staff Bylaws, and regulatory and accrediting body standards.
The Director is responsible for driving professional growth and development to build high-performing teams, and to identify and develop strong potential leaders.
The Director reports to the Vice President of Medical Affairs, and provides direct management to the Medical Staff Services Managers and the Physician Contracts Program Managers.
Also provides management of multiple Associates, including Credentialing Program Managers and Administrative Assistants.In addition, provides management oversight for numerous physician contracts, as well as credentialing and privileging oversight for up to 2000 medical providers.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's Degree (Required)

Years of experience: 7 to 10
Management principles, budgeting, team leadership, quality training and facilitation, hardware/software fluency, in-depth knowledge of complex physician credentialing and JCAHO issues.
