    Description


    Senior Manager, Consulting Services at Oracle in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description Job Description As a Senior Manager, Consulting Services you will lead, direct, and review the team's work to achieve operational or functional targets or objectives with measurable contribution towards the achievement of immediate/short-term and long-term results for the team and department.

    You will establish and communicate team goals that support and advance team and department objectives; establish metrics or other performance measures to track progress.


    For example:
    Closely tracking team billable utilization and team members' survey scores.

    You will also monitor progress of team members' onboarding and understand and explain policies, practices, and procedures within immediate area of responsibility to stakeholders within and outside the team.

    In scope will be to review direct reports' expense reports and ensure they are in compliance with the Travel and Expense Policy as well as monitor overtime and timesheet submissions.

    Review and approve direct reports' timesheets and provide approval for PTO/Sick time.

    This role will allow you to manage escalations and work with the appropriate parties to determine next steps and resolution.

    You will identify, propose, and lead team- and department-level quality and process improvement initiatives; participate and provide input on strategic initiatives at the department-level as well as deliver consistent and timely training, guidance, and feedback to encourage and promote associate success and growth through regular developmental conversations and identification of developmental opportunities.

    As part of this role, you will observe and provide feedback on team members' facilitation skills so this may require travel to client sites.

    You will provide coaching and follow up as needed, hold regular one-on-ones with all direct reports, build rapport, assist setting and tracking career goals, and provide performance feedback.

    You will manage a team of approximately 15-18 associates and assume all hiring responsibilities.

    Responsibilities Ensures that operational policies are followed and that business objectives are achieved by focusing on best practices and process improvements.

    Responsible for operational metrics and business results for assigned area of responsibility. Typically manages individual contributors and/or entry-level managers.
