    Qualifications:

    1. High school diploma. Course work in business skills preferred.
    2. Knowledge of office procedures.
    3. Excellent public relation, phone and communication skills.
    4. Strong organizational skills.
    5. Proficient at word processing (windows) and data entry.
    6. Professional appearance and demeanor.
    7. Bilingual Spanish required.
    8. A valid California driver's license with less than two minor moving violations.

    Essential Job Functions:

    1. Ability to operate multi-line phone system.
    2. Proficient with Microsoft Office and data entry.
    3. Must be able to interact with clients, employees, and the public in a pleasant, positive and professional manner.
    4. Ability to type 50 wpm.
    5. Physical, mental and emotional health adequate to perform job duties.
    6. Adhere to all legal and ethical standards including but not limited to maintaining confidentiality of agency business.
    7. Ability to communicate ideas in oral and written form.
    8. Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
    9. Ability to work with cultural/ethnic diversity.
    10. Sound personal qualifications (i.e., maturity, stability, high moral standards, and sound mental health and physical ability to perform job duties).

    Responsibilities:

    1. Answer telephones in a professional manner.
    2. Schedule appointments for program staff.
    3. Data entry and word processing for program/s.
    4. Greet clients in a polite, professional and pleasant manner.
    5. Produce and maintain client files.
    6. Basic knowledge of all agency programs. Maintain office supply inventories.
    7. Prepare routine correspondence, type letters, reports, meeting minutes and other documents as requested.
    8. Participate in monthly Peer Review.
    9. Attend all in-service trainings.
    10. Responsible for preventing and controlling infection.
    11. Responsible for maintaining a culture of quality and safety.
    12. Effectively use de-escalation skills and techniques for crisis prevention.
    13. Properly administer the C-SSRS to help prevent suicide.
    14. Interaction is appropriate and sensitive to client's culture. Interaction is appropriate with client's developmental level.

    Other:

    1. Attend all required meetings.
    2. Report any suspected child or dependent adult/elder abuse or neglect immediately to direct supervisor or utilize the chain of command if supervisor is unavailable.
    3. Report any client imminent danger to self or to others or gravely disabled immediately to direct supervisor or utilize the chain of command if supervisor is unavailable.
    4. Other duties as assigned.
