Description

Clinicians work with individuals, groups, and communities to improve mental health.

They diagnose and treat emotional disorders, encourage individuals to talk about their feelings and help individuals develop new strategies to improve their lives and relationships.

Qualifications:

Clinician
Graduation from an accredited graduate program with a major in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Behavior Analysis, or other related degree required. These degrees must be license eligible (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC).
One year of experience in a treatment setting
Bilingual
BBS registration, licenses, credentials or like certifications must remain active and valid with their governing entity, if applicable.
A valid California driver's license with less than two minor moving violations is required of staff who have driving duties to meet the requirements of their position and be approved by the agency's insurance company.

Must possess knowledge of mental health programs and community
Adhere to all applicable legal and ethical
Ability to work effectively with cultural/ethnic
Ability to work and travel to various locations, including client homes, schools and community settings.
Sound personal qualifications (i.e., maturity, stability, high moral standards, and sound mental health and physical ability to perform job duties)
Due to the State Public Health Officer Order of August 5, 2021: COVID19 Vaccine Mandate, this position works in a designated health care facility that requires workers to be fully vaccinated for COVID19.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct clinical services to
Provide assessment and treatment planning for
Provide group, individual, family, and collateral clinical services for
Provide school consultation when
Keep comprehensive clinical records that meet standards of the agency, The Joint Commission and contract.
Collaborate with the referring agency or other community agencies working with the client to coordinate treatment.
Collect outcome data, including consumer satisfaction surveys, as required by the agency and contract.
Must implement program goals and objectives to meet and maintain contractual requirements and productivity.
Participate in monthly peer
Responsible for preventing and controlling
Responsible for maintaining a culture of quality and
Effectively use deescalation skills and techniques for crisis
Properly administer the C-SSRS to help prevent suicide.
