Medical Courier Driver

Available schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm

Job description

Accurate Courier Services is currently looking for dependable and reliable couriers. Join us to support our healthcare providers and enhance the well-being of patients in our community.


BENEFITS:


  • Hourly Rate $16 hr
  • Mileage Reimbursement
  • Medical/Dental/Vision (after 90 days)

Job Duties Include

  • Safely and accurately transport various parcel types including Specimen (blood, urine, pathology at different temperatures), medical instruments, medical supplies, mail, and documents, pharmaceuticals
  • Maintain accurate records at all stop locations
  • Follow all protocols for safely entering and exiting medical facilities
  • Follow protocol for handling medical parcels properly
  • Responsible for timely pickup and delivery of all parcels (in accordance with time schedules)
Job Requirements

  • Must be willing to undergo comprehensive training (in classroom and field)
  • Must follow rules and regulations at all times
  • Must be drugfree at all times due to customer requirements.
  • Must be clean and wellgroomed and keep proper hygiene.
  • Must wear their uniforms and I.D badges during work hours (provided by the company)
  • Responsible for reporting any issues or problems while working on their assigned routes/orders to dispatch and/or their supervisor immediately.

  • Perform outstanding, in person customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Responsible for maintaining a vehicle in good working condition.
  • Responsible for maintaining a valid driver's license, declaration pages of insurance, and vehicle registration at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Professional driving experience preferred (couriers, delivery routes, etc)
  • Good Customer Service and Communication skills
  • Dependable and Reliable
  • General knowledge of the local area (roads, shortcuts, etc.)
  • 21+ with Valid Driver License
  • Clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record)
  • Pass background, health requirements and drug screening
  • Able to use his own reliable Minivan
