    Duties

  • Utilizes an automated HR system to enter data (coding) to process to completion various personnel actions in accordance with laws, regulations, and agency policy.
  • Plans, coordinates, and establishes work-tracking systems to monitor work; coordinates with others on requirements and deadlines to assure expectations are met and work is completed satisfactorily.
  • Works in a professional manner with a variety of people at all organizational levels in BLM, other Federal agencies, State, and local governments, and/or private sector entities.
  • Displays a high level of attention to detail; is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
  • Expresses information effectively, skillfully, and tactfully to individuals or groups, considering the audience and nature of the information (e.g., technical, sensitive, controversial).
  • Reviews/proofreads correspondence and documents for clarity, completeness, and grammatical and procedural correctness before sending through the appropriate chain of command for approval.
  • Retrieves missing or supplemental information from multiple sources to ensure files are complete and accurate.
