    This role is 100% remote requiring 50-75% travel. Candidates can reside anywhere in US.
    Responsible for learning and understanding UL Solutions Software and Advisory (S&A) offerings and how to position them to drive significant business outcomes for our clients
    Achieve bookings target by selling the UL Solutions S&A solutions platform to the industrial, commercial and retail and other key focus industries
    Responsible for landing new logos and driving expansion business at existing accounts for your assigned territory
    Develops holistic account strategies that focus on solution-selling across industry-specific UL S&A portfolios
    Creates and maintains pipeline of new logo prospects to supplement existing account activities, owns new logo process through close of sale
    Leads discovery, opportunity identification, proposals, and closing for sales of core UL products and services
    Meets with new logo prospects from inbound and outbound channels to qualify their needs, understand decision-makers, and land new clients for assigned product focus areas
    Develops, manages, and grows relationships with executive level stakeholders with Fortune 1000 companies
    Understands industry trends and client/market needs. Has the ability to clearly articulate to executives, clients, and prospects how our software and advisory offerings can meet needs and deliver significant value
    Works with Lead Development Reps to qualify newly identified opportunities
    Drives sales process from beginning to end, leveraging support from Pre-Sales Product Specialists and Sales Support Specialists when necessary
    Teams with Client Success Specialists to ensure accounts utilize and renew UL S&A solutions
    Interfaces with clients primarily in person but also virtually (video, phone, email) to promote and sell UL Solutions products and services; travel as needed (up to 50%) for proactive outreach to highest potential clients

    Exhibits strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop trusted and lasting relationships with executives at all levels within client organizations.

    Demonstrates ability to think creatively in the development of client solutions, pricing, and pursuit/proposal strategies.
    Devises new and innovative ways to market products and services and differentiate from competitors.
    Understands sales best practices, methods and supporting systems (including CRM).
    Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work seamlessly with internal and external teams (e.g., peers, clients, alliance partners, affiliate executives, industry partners)

    Able to create and deliver high impact client presentations, communications, and proposals, adapt with Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.

    Communicates clearly and effectively.
    Share and communicate client requirements, concerns, and opportunities with Engineering and other functions.
    The target annual pay range for this position is $120,000. - $150,000K which includes a base salary of $60,000-75,000 and 100% on target performance. Members of the sales function are eligible to participate in the UL Solutions Sales Incentive Plan.

    The annual target incentive for this position is 100% of the base salary, paid quarterly, and is contingent upon performance.

    Employees are eligible for health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental & financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country, for the relevant position level.

    We also provide employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).

    Plans sales strategy and maintains ongoing plan to prioritize portfolio of accounts and maintain relationships throughout the year.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field
    3-5 years of sales, account management and sales operations
    Experience selling SAP products is preferable
    Business acumen and deep understanding of business sales processes
    Relevant industry experience with understanding of industry trends and challenges
    Successful track record of selling, creating strategies, plans and successful lead generation campaigns that resulted in multi-million deals, to large multinational manufacturers
    Hands on sales experience with the ability to both pursue, manage, and close new strategic accounts
    Superb strategic, and analytical skills
    Ability to work independently and develop strategies, partnering with other leaders to create an aggressive yet manageable path.
    Excellent organization and time management skills
    Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to influence high-level decision makers

    Ability to communicate effectively with internal constituents both on the service delivery side and throughout a high collaborative team-based sales process.

    Innovative self-starter
    Experience presenting to small and large groups both online and in person
    Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), CRM software, and digital account planning tools
    Willingness to travel >75%
