Description

Works with senior leadership to plan and execute workforce development strategies and initiatives.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the HR Director will ensure that HR programs, policies and initiatives support the overall mission, goals, and values of the Regional Food Bank; will manage and develop other HR, Payroll and Benefits and Workforce employees.

Serves as a trusted resource to staff for their needs, and to Chiefs, Directors and Managers on HR related matters.

Periodic travel between our two locations (Albany County and Orange County) and our farm in Voorheesville, NY required

Participates in Board of Directors Personnel Committee meetings as requested.

Other duties as assigned to attain organizational goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; PHR/SPHR Certification and five to seven years of management experience in human resources.
Indepth knowledge of HR and personnel management practices, laws, governments regulations, and policies.
Excellent interpersonal communication, writing, and organization
Ability to handle confidential information with great sensitivity.
Advanced computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, Accounting Software, HR Software, and Payroll preparation software
ADP preferred).

Pay:
$80,000.00 per year
