    Bay & Bay is looking for a motivated Business Development Representative. This position is a great opportunity for someone who believes in themselves and is interested in getting into the sales field in the Transportation industry. A successful Business Development Representative. will be goal oriented, have excellent communication skills and be self-motivated.

    In addition, this role is responsible to support business improvement by meeting personal and departmental goals and objectives timely and effectively.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Research and qualify leads for potential future business
    • Build, maintain and grow customer relationships through cold calling and consistent communications.
    • Be a resource to our customers regarding service offerings, market trends
    • Understand how market trends impact our business and our customers
    • Be part of a team, support your co-workers.
    • Meet or exceed expected metrics
    • Other duties as assigned
    Experience and Education:
    • Must be sales oriented, or have the personal drive to be part of the sales team
    • Prior sales preferred, but not required
    • Strong interpersonal, communication & verbal skills.
    • Excellent computer skills and ability to pick up quickly on new technology
    • Highly motivated.
    • Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment.
