    Description
    Job Title: Data Center Support Engineer

    Location: Houston, TX Day 1 onsite role

    Duration: 12+ Months Contract role

    Job Description:
    • Data Center Support engineer with understanding of Systems, hardware and having a minimum of 5-7 years of experience.
    • Racking and stacking of hardware (Servers, Network switches and External storage arrays)
    • Strong HPE hardware management skills
    • Strong experience in inventory and asset management
    • Strong HPE hardware management skills
    • Ability to work with globally distributed teams - engage , collaborate and coordinate with global teams
    • HPE OneView/COM Test Lab Setup and Management:
      • Hardware Setup, installation, deployment-
      • Qualify HPE Cloud portfolio products on specialized SKUs/ bundles with specific hardware configurations like SYNERGY, C7000 and defined customer specific configuration like High availability Cluster (ESX/Hyperv/KVM) with the supported legacy and new hardware (servers, VCmodules, NICs, Racks, Switches, Storage etc.)
    • Validating and supporting HPE servers, storage enclosure and Synergy composable infrastructure.
    • Must have strong Networking, Virtualization and Storage management skills.
    • Resolving the Proto, Pilot, Production hardware and software issues in ticketing system JIRA as per user priorities.
    • Simulate customer environment in the test lab, produce field issue or Data Integrity issues. Analysis and reproducing the Issue and coordinate with user to resolve the issue.
    • Test and Certify HPE Cloud, Converged/Composable Infrastructure portfolio Hardware and Software Products:
    • Utilize experience with configuration management (Chef, Puppet, and Ansible) and HPE portfolio Composable Infrastructure products to standardize tests as per the customer usability scenarios.
    • Verify customer escalated issues and reproduce the issue in real time scenario and help developers to resolve the issues.
    • Work on Jenkins tool for automatic run of the test cases and getting customized reports on the end of run
    • Bug Identification, debugging the problems & reporting to the development team
    • Attending Scrum meetings to discuss daily activities.
    • Coordinating with offshore team in the project
