    Base Compensation

    $90,000 - $125,000/yr plus bonus opportunities paid out quarterly

    Role Description

    This is a full-time remote role for a General Liability Associate Attorney that has anywhere from two (2) to five (5) years of insurance defense litigation experience. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling daily tasks related to general liability cases, including legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, appearing in court, taking and defending depositions, negotiating settlements, and providing legal advice to clients. The Associate Attorney will also work closely with other attorneys and staff to ensure the best outcomes for our clients.

    Qualifications

    • Admission to the NY Bar is required and a dual admission to both NY and NJ is optimal.
    • Strong knowledge of law, specifically defending trip/slip and fall matters, including reviewing lease agreements for indemnification issues.
    • Experience in providing legal advice and guidance to clients
    • Proficiency in legal research and writing
    • Excellent negotiation skills
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
    • Ability to work independently and remotely
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks
    • Candidate must have experience in billing practices
