Sinayskaya Yuniver, a Brooklyn based law firm, is looking for an Associate Attorney.

Our firm's Area of Practice are:
Commercial Litigation, Labor and Employment Law - Commercial Class-Action Defense, General Business Law, and Healthcare Law. This is an opportunity to join an innovative and close-knit team, working on sophisticated and complex litigation matters.


Responsibilities include:

  • Handling pretrial proceedings, discovery, motion practice, court conferences, and depositions
  • Drafting legal documents including, but not limited to, bill of particulars and other pleadings, discovery motions, and appellate briefs
  • Managing the intake of contract requests and conducting client interviews related to contracts
  • Perform legal research
  • Managing and settling disputes
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients
  • Apprising partners of material developments and matters on a timely basis
  • Exercising sound business and legal judgment
  • Demonstrating leadership skills in the support of a collaborative team environment

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year litigation experience
  • JD Degree from an accredited law school
  • Member in good standing of the New York State Bar
  • Strong legal writing skills
  • Analytical skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Sound judgment and ability to have full ownership over cases
