    POSITION SUMMARY:
    The Director for Men's and Women's Outerwear leads the product strategy for the global outerwear category. This position collaborates closely with cross functional partners to bring product strategies, visions, and innovation to life. This role is responsible for aligning all global product strategies into one, clear, concise vision. Category ownership includes all styles from aspirational to full price to outlet to off price.

    Full ownership of global line planning for tailoring and outerwear as it relates to assortment aesthetic direction, style / skus counts, regional exclusives, segmentation, pricing, fabrication etc.

    The Director will ensure all products are properly flowed from sketch creation to purchase order issue, on time, on brand, and profitably.


    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
    Define & lead global outerwear strategy on holistic and seasonal level. Deliver best in class hero, essential, and seasonal styles.
    Collaborative & consistent communication with channels to capture unique regional & market needs.
    Strong partnership with design to bring product to life in coordination with the brand identity, balancing commercial with aspirational.

    Collaboration with raw material & supply teams to cost product at all pricing tiers within margin goals, whilst delivering innovation, quality, and craftmanship.

    Drive calendar deliverables on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis to make sure all milestones are tracking on time.
    Thorough understanding of marketspace, inclusive of direct competitors and aspirational brands.
    Inspire and develop a team of direct reports.

    QUALIFICATIONS &


    EXPERIENCE:
    Experience: 10+ years of Global Merchandising experience Education: Bachelor's degree in Merchandising or equivalentSkills:


    Product obsessed with proven experience in driving product assortments and partnering with Design to conceive product concepts that drive business and excite customers.

    Strategic thinker who recognizes opportunities and can influence decision makers to move to execution.
    Must be a creative and solution-oriented problem solver able to multitask at a quick pace.
    Must possess high level of analytical skills and conceptual creative ability.
    Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills.
    Must possess a global perspective with international market experience.
    Strong knowledge of the competitive landscape.
    High energy and a positive attitude are a must.
    Strong leader, who enjoys team development.

    $145,000 - $173,500PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
