I currently work as a Producer for AJ+, a digital storytelling project of Al Jazeera. Previously I worked at CBS for almost 3 years, at CBSN's morning show and the International Desk.

I freelance as a feature writer on and off, for publications such as Scalawag Magazine, VICE, POLITICO, Teen Vogue, Elle Magazine, and worked with ProPublica's Electionland.

I completed two fellowships from The International Women's in Media Foundation where I investigated the true scale of the “silent pandemic” in Sudan, domestic violence and the women who are baring the burden of the governments’ miscalculations. I worked for a year covering voter suppression in TN, specifically tracking how inadequate ways to store court fees and fines has affected former incarcerated individuals.

My story for Elle Magazine on a woman’s Facebook group created to catch cheating men that was a catalyst for the Sudan revolution is currently being optioned into a film through WME.

I majored in International Relations and Music at George Washington University.
