    The American Immigration Council works to strengthen America by shaping how America thinks about and acts towards immigrants and immigration and by working toward a more fair and just immigration system that opens its doors to those in need of protection and unleashes the energy and skills that immigrants bring. The Council brings together individuals adept at solving problems and employs four coordinated approaches to advance change—litigation, research, legislative and administrative advocacy, and communications.

    Your Role

    The Program Coordinator is tasked with providing logistical and operational support for the campaign, with a particular focus on maintaining the case management database (Dynamics), generating data reports for relevant stakeholders, and assisting in volunteer coordination as needed.

    Essential Job Functions

    Administrative Support (75%)

    • Manage case database, including creating new entries, organizing relevant documents for cases, implementing periodic review and data cleanup, implementing systems for consistent data tracking across projects, and updating case input as requested by other Campaign staff.
    • Coordinate and manage updates to referral forms and other case tracking mechanisms with the legal team, ensuring placement documents are fully updated on a regular basis.
    • Maintain all Campaign data and prepare reports as needed.
    • Monitor and respond to emails in shared inboxes.
    • Assist the Director with external communications, including meetings with stakeholders and partners.
    • Maintain a calendar for project deliverables and reports.
    • Additional administrative support as needed.

    Support for legal team and volunteer coordination (25%)

    • Prepare and distribute regular email communications for current volunteers.
    • Pair pro bono attorneys with interpreters/translators.
    • Track case progression and hearing dates, maintain case timeline reminder emails, and ensure volunteers continue to attend calls with their mentor.
    • Maintain volunteer and mentor thank you email procedure at the conclusion of each case, and solicit feedback, as needed.
    Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
    • Experience with data management a plus.
