- Accomplish sales goals.
- Gain new customers in the assigned territory and ensure the revenue stream is profitable.
- Retain and enhance the revenue of current customer relationships in the territory.
- Stay current on all new products and services in order to present all options available.
- Make presentations to individuals or groups using standard Company presentation materials and be prepared to modify from time to time to meet specific opportunities.
- Present product samples as needed to customer or prospects for review and be capable of explaining the benefits and features.
- Maintain effective and harmonious working relationships with customers, prospects, internal sales team, key account executives, and other company associates.
- Complete a minimum of 12 face-to-face customer and/or prospect visits weekly that can be tracked and reported upon in CRM.
- Work with a Business Development Representative to open a minimum of eight new accounts monthly.
- Instruct customers employees on how to use CustomFit for ordering and returning merchandise through on-site program roll-outs, as needed.
- Maintain Microsoft Outlook Calendar that outlines travel plans at least two months in advance. Share and communicate calendar changes with Business Development Representatives and Account Sales Representatives.
- Demonstrate and ability to use all mediums possible for gaining new business, including but not limited to face-to-face presentations, webinars, phone calls, zoom info, current customer referrals, trade show leads and leads in CRM.
- Operate within expense budget.
- Travel throughout the assigned territory in order to maintain effective customer and prospect contact frequency.
- Mediate conflicts or customer complaints in collaboration with other Company personnel.
- Collaborate with Customer Financial Services to meet business needs.
- Maintain customer account details and update customer profiles, when necessary, utilizing CRM

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or two to four years of industrial sales experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- One to three years successful outside B2B industrial sales experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills including formal presentation skills before small and large groups.
- Demonstrated business planning skills and ability to problem solve and negotiate with special emphasis on closing the sale.
- Proven ability to work independently.
- Intermediate level of experience in Microsoft Suite of Applications including: Word, Excel, Outlook, CRM, and PowerPoint; and proficiency in most common computer based business applications for outside salespeople.
- Ability to lift and carry no more than 50 pounds.
