    Inside Sales – Business Development Representative

    The Opportunity

    We are looking for a motivated Inside Sales Professional to join our Sales/Business Development team. You will grow the pipeline for Sunrise Landscape sales by engaging with prospects and customers to move them forward in the sales process. For more than 40 years, Sunrise Landscape, a commercial landscape maintenance, design and installation company, has been serving West Central Florida with a commitment to landscape and service excellence. As we continue our growth, the Business Development Rep is a meaningful position focused on cultivating relationships with new prospective clients by utilizing phone and other channels to create, nurture and expand those relationships by securing appointments for the Outside Sales Team/Business Development Executives.     Location:

    The role must be located in the Tampa, FL area (no exceptions) and will require someone to be in the office at least 2 days per week followed by a hybrid schedule of remote and field time (with the Business Development Executives). Please note that candidates outside of the Tampa area will not be considered.

    What You Will Do:

  • Actively engage new leads by phone, email, and various professional social channels to attract new customers to Sunrise Landscape.
  • Manage and build a portfolio of prospective commercial landscape customers.
  • Set appointments with prospective customers based on the quality characteristics set by Business Development Executives (Outside Sales).
  • Learn to have a business level Discovery call that leads to landing that new deal.
  • Manage daily sales call activity to optimize time and maximize the achievement of sales and market share objectives.
  • Become proficient around Sunrise Landscape offerings and be able to speak to the value and differentiation we provide as a commercial landscape organization.
  • Maintain the required product expertise including competitive product knowledge.
  • Achieve quarterly quotas of appointment setting and net new logo sales.
  • Support the creation of customer proposals.
  • Participate in customer facing meetings throughout different stages of the sales funnel.

    What You Bring To Us:
  • Bachelors' degree.
  • Previous experience as an SDR/AE is preferred; if not; proven experience of being able to outreach and cold call.
  • Excellent track record in communicating with customers; establishing and maintaining relationships.
  • Knowledge of Pipedrive (CRM) is a bonus
  • Proven ability to multitask and juggle several responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Superior communication skills
  • Ability to travel to client sites within West-Central Florida as needed.

    Compensation:

    This role will have a base salary plus commission compensation offering. The base salary will range from $50,000-55,000 annually (DOE) with a commission opportunity of an additional 20,000-30,000 in the first full year. New employees will receive ramp-up time upon hire to supplement a portion of the commissions.
