Grounding something new from scratch requires a lot of work, but above all, endless passion, commitment and to be the Jack of all trades.
Today, I am managing over 45 contributors, editing, writing, interviewing, while developing our online identity, seeking relationships with partners, collaborators, sponsors and guest contributors.
With the help of two ladies, we are proud to see our exponential growth in all social media channels (without any paid ads), monthly readers rate (60K), increasing newsletter subscriptions & the outstanding number of 'thank you' notes.
I am working in WordPress, using and developing the necessary plug-ins, watching out for SEO, keywords, trend analyses, inner linking, copywriting, headline evaluation.

European Cockpit Association October 2015 - April 2016Having spent 2 years out of a 9-5 job, I was curious where I stand & how I compare to others in the market, so for a maternity cover I joined ECA.
I learned about the regulatory frameworks of European aviation, represented the European pilots' interest via articles, interviews, PRs, various newsletters, digital & printed promotional materials, and, of course, social media.
I worked in Drupal (CMS) that challenged me after WP, but improved my HTML skills. I used Photoshop, InDesign, Canva and a bunch of other software to create the visual that conveys the message, be it about Aviation Package, OR Regulation or the matters around Trans Airlines.
I liaised with journalists & other stakeholders to make sure they know where we stand.
As I got a catch of breath, I revisit our online identity & asked questions: which page brought the most traffic & why? Could we add some more new media features while keeping our professional voice? How could we write even more engaging pieces?
