    At Merits Health Products our Territory Sales Managers (TSM) act as ambassadors and are responsible for establishing and maintaining positive and strong relationships with customers based on their assigned territory.

    Building trust and providing support to prospects, ensuring they lead to potential future sales. They are champions of the company by, focusing, coordinating, organizing, and directing territory sales efforts. To build product demand through the development of effective relationships and bringing value to every sales call. Advancing the companys vision, culture, values, and work environment.

    The Territory Sales Manager responsible for IN, OH, MI, is directly responsible for increasing the sales of Merits product offerings.

    The TSM works within their assigned territory to develop their customer base's knowledge of Merits product line, targeting key/focus accounts, developing opportunities, and exceeding budgeted sales goals.

    ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS:


    • RESNA credentialed ATP preferred.
    • Travel within sales territory to meet prospects and customers
    • Educate customers on benefits of the product
    • Travel within assigned territory a minimum of 4 overnights per month.
    • One home office day (per week), for planning and analysis.
    • Minimum of 17 (per year), qualified, in-services at Rehab Providers or Referral Facilities.
    • Educate customers on benefits of the product
    • Weekly call report to be provided to management team to evaluate and provide feedback on sales activities
    • Keep current on new product information and the development of new products
    • Keep current on industry standards and trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies
    • Keep abreast of government regulations as they relate to competitive bidding and other government regulations including Medicare Billing Codes
    • Works overtime as needed.
    • Other duties as assigned

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
    :


    • College degree preferred
    • High School Diploma
    • 10 years minimum industry experience in
    • Excellent leadership, organizational, and time management skills
    • Strong negotiating skills and capacity
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Proficient with Google Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
    • Strong written and oral communication and customer service skills
    • Lives within the territory
    • Valid Drivers License is required.

    PHYSICAL DEMAND AND WORKING CONDITIONS

    • Duties are performed in an office and field environment
    • Contact with internal and external customers and vendors.
    • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 lbs.
    • Must travel extensively by car; sit for long periods of time; may encounter adverse weather and/or road conditions; requires 50% overnight travel.
