    About SV Academy:

    SV Academy is your fast track to a rewarding career in the tech industry. With personalized coaching and industry-aligned curriculum, we've helped over 5000 graduates from diverse backgrounds launch successful careers in sales and business development.

    This is a unique opportunity to participate in our comprehensive BDR Residency. The Residency consists of a free two-week training period followed by a full-time W2, salaried+benefits, 12-week Residency with one of our Employer Partners. Residents will receive hands-on training, mentorship, and real-world experience to prepare them for a successful career in sales.

    Key Role Responsibilities for your Residency:

    • Utilize multiple channels such as cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach to prospect and qualify potential leads.
    • Conduct in-depth research on prospects to gain insights into their business needs, pain points, and decision-making processes.
    • Clearly and persuasively communicate the company's value proposition to prospects, sparking interest and scheduling appointments for the sales team.
    • Manage the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals
    • Effectively utilize CRM (Hubspot) to track and manage leads, ensuring data accuracy and timely follow-up.
    • Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly quotas for qualified appointments set, demonstrating a proactive and results-driven approach.
    • Engage in ongoing professional development and training to enhance sales skills, product knowledge, and industry expertise.
    • Foster strong relationships with prospects and internal stakeholders, maintaining a customer-centric approach and positioning the company as a trusted advisor in the marketplace.

    Requirements

    • Strong desire to pursue a career in sales and willingness to commit to the full Residency program.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage prospects and articulate value propositions effectively.
    • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and adapt to changing priorities.
    • Familiarity with Hubspot is a plus but not required.
    • Knowledge of the Food Service industry is a plus but not required.
    • Prior sales experience is a plus.
    • Full-time availability Monday - Friday (9:30am - 7pm PT)
    • Ability to work in office 5 days a week (Monday-Friday)
