    Description

    This position provides daily administrative support for the Vice President for Human Resources (VPHR) under the direction of the Director of DEI Programs & Human Resources Administration.

    This position will represent the University HR office in all interactions within the BU community as well as guests, affiliates, and other partners to BU.

    This professional will be responsible for managing the calendar and events for the Vice President and support the Director of DEI Programs & Human Resources Administration with financial and administrative duties that will include room reservations; catering; media service requests; process invoices; disbursements; expense reports; coordinate specific BUHR sponsored events; and other activities as needed.

    Required Skills


    • Associates degree or equivalent or, related experience.
    • 4-6 years of related experience.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
    • Demonstrated interpersonal and organizational skills with ability to problem solve and meet multiple deadlines.
    • A high level of professionalism and ability to communicate with individuals at all levels is required.
    • Must work effectively with highly confidential information and demonstrate a high level of discretion at all times.
    • Strong attention to detail and high conflict resolution skills.
    • Strong listening and communication skills with ability to take initiative, manage complicated tasks, and offer feedback for improvement to HR processes and procedures.
    • Must be able to work independently and within a team.
