Getting back in the groove

Getting back in the groove

{ Znomsled)

Shift happens.

It has been a while since I published here.

An aging body brings about such fits and starts whether it is an individual or an organization.

My infirmities occurred at the same time my friends at BeBee had to pivot a bit to stay in business.

I'm returning to the fold at least briefly as I enjoy the ability see better than I have in years due to eye surgery over the last couple weeks.

My daughter has begun to call me the bionic man as I now have replacement parts all over my anatomy.

Accept the change

It is the same whether you are an individual or a company.  Changes occur. Moving forward requires you to accept it. Here at the end of the first week in 2024 is a good time to look at how you will relate to others at home and on the job.

Nothing is more important.

No objective is more critical.

Each of us is becoming someone else.

Each of us morphs over time.

Yet we have a purpose that doesn't change.

Your WHY, your personal operating system, remains constant over time.

Understanding how to communicate your unique skills and those of others assures human connections.

And so it goes.

PS.  I'm not Scottish and not wearing a kilt. We were on holiday in Scotland and the blanket over partially bionic legs gives that appearance.

Glad to hear you're doing much better and the eyes are sparkling again @Jerry Fletcher and I swear i thought you were wearing a kilt with stockings 😃 Hope Scotland was fun, it's in 2025 travel plans

Change is the ONLY constant. Infact we need to accept FAST Change these days. Adaptability is the most wanted career skill in the market!

P.S - I had been super laser focused in the last 1 + year and found a hard time navigating bebee the last time I posted on the platform

During this time, I've been enjoying my career journey so far and have alot to share perhaps it's time to restart my posts in beBee as well! I need to check in more often to see who is still active here. I miss the old beBee days.

Each one of you  played a crucial part in my growth.  Like the pebbles that led someone home in some childhood story, I heard not sure which one.

P.S - I was actually pushed into resetting my password and checking beBee as someone cloned my profile here on beBee and luckily our good friend Randy told me about it and Javier took immediate /swift action to have it removed. I look forward to reading your next post

Loads of love

#2 Ken, Just getting an appointment for a procedure can be daunting. I've had one delayed from Jan 5 to Jan 19 and then again to Feb 21. ON top of that the commute to the site is an hour if I'm driving, 1.5 hours if I take a bus!

Sounds like you’re becoming a playground for biomedical engineers, Jerry; a veritable marriage of medics and engineers. Just don’t ask these SOBs for written explanations on what they’re gonna do with their robotic spare parts. They’ll baffle you with their technobabble and their handwriting is indecipherable. 🤪

Nice to hear you have regained a lost diminished faculty or two. Also that rather than some have made improvements to your state of mind, health etc., when they are continuing to loose theirs.

Recently my wife had eye surgery and now has better sight than she ever had. Great for her, for me not so good she can see what I'm up to.
